BEAT 627 refers to the current world record of 627 people each keeping a ball off the ground “soccer-style” or juggling for 10 seconds straight. But it also represents to an attitude: that records are meant to be broken and adversity is meant to be overcome.
Of course you do not need to be good at juggling to sign up. Everyone is welcome to participate. The most important thing is to bring a ball and join the soccer community for a great experience and a fantastic cause.
The record attempt will take place at halftime of the Pali Blues game vs. Santa Clarita at the Palisades Stadium-by-the-Sea on May 22, 2010, at 6:00 p.m.
All tickets for this special event game are $15
