PALI BLUES PARTNER WITH PALISADIAN-POST

PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. (Wednesday, March 12, 2008) – The Pali Blues Soccer Club announce today that the Palisadian-Post is on board as the Official Media Partner of the team. This announcement comes just days after the Blues acquired three members of the Australia National Team for their inaugural season in the USL W-League which is scheduled to commence in May.

"I am very happy that we were able to partner with the Palisadian-Post newspaper,” Blues Senior Director of Marketing Michael Page stated. “Working with the Post was my first goal when I came on board with the Pali Blues as they are the only broad reaching local media outlet in the Pacific Palisades area. This partnership will help us reach our target audience in the community and build awareness that a world class women’s soccer team, the Pali Blues, is their new hometown team."

The Palisadian-Post is a weekly newspaper serving Pacific Palisades, a community of 27,000 residents located northwest of Los Angeles, serving the Palisades area bordered by Malibu to the north and Santa Monica to the south. The Palisadian-Post also publishes the Post Shopper, offering complete advertising coverage to the communities of Pacific Palisades, Santa Monica Canyon and Malibu.

This partnership guarantees the Palisadian-Post exclusivity within the newspaper division, and they will also have a fluent presence within the Blues advertising strategy. In the May 1 issue of the Palisadian-Post, a special eight-page Pali Blues insert will be included within distribution of the newspaper.

The Pali Blues Soccer Club will play the first game of their inaugural USL W-League season on the road against the Ventura County Fusion on Saturday, May 10. The following weekend, the Blues will play their inaugural home contest at the “Stadium by the Sea” when they host the Los Angeles Legends on Saturday, May 17. Tickets for home match ups are only $10 for adults ($8 with student ID) and $5 for kids under the age of 12.
